With 50 years experience tutoring math and 30 years teaching in public high schools in San Diego, CA, Kathy Burns knows that, with support, any teenager can move from academic failure to academic success.

For almost 20 years, Kathy Burns co-directed a tutoring & study skills program in San Diego, CA, working as a math specialist, helping many students to raise their grades, pass classes, and graduate.  Sometimes her students improved dramatically, raising a course grade from F to A, or a G.P.A. from less than 1.00 to 3.00 or higher.

Kathy Burns retired from full-time teaching in 2009.  She now tutors math in Clovis, New Mexico.  She also tutors via phone and FaceTime.
